Initial visit (Sep 23) — Matthew B: Reported concern Dryer exhaust vent was restricted and had a hole, which can reduce airflow and affect drying performance. The dryer plug was also loose in the wall socket. Assessment The heating element was tested and is operating correctly. The damaged exhaust vent connection required adjustment. The loose socket cannot securely retain the dryer plug and needs replacement by a qualified electrician. Work performed The exhaust vent was readjusted and reattached to the dryer. Next steps Arrange for a qualified electrician to replace the dryer socket. The exhaust vent should also be monitored to ensure it remains securely attached and allows proper airflow.
