Customer complaint: Bespoke 4-door French door fridge, made April 2023. Internal water filter head appears to be leaking. Around Oct 3 we replaced the water filter and got no water at the dispenser; overnight the fridge leaked water down through the cabinet and out by the front feet. Putting the old filter back in gave the same result (no flow). With NO filter installed, running the dispenser makes water come out of the front of the filter head into the tray below instead of going to the dispenser, so the head's internal valve doesn't seem to seal. We have a video of this. Water supply to the fridge is currently shut off. Likely needs a filter head assembly replacement. Please confirm diagnostic fee and whether it applies to the repair. Initial visit (Oct 22) — Matthew B: Reported concern An issue was reported regarding the appliance's water filter housing. Assessment A defect was identified with the water filter housing assembly. A compromised filter housing can prevent proper filter engagement, restrict water flow to the ice maker and dispenser, or create a risk of internal water leakage. Sourcing research indicates that the required replacement part is currently designated as No Longer Available (NLA) by the manufacturer, and no estimated time of arrival (ETA) is available for restock.
