Initial visit (Oct 7) — Matthew B: ### Reported Concern The customer reports that the ice maker is not cycling water correctly to produce ice. ### Assessment During diagnostics, the drain pump was observed working normally. The unit initially filled with water after the harvest cycle, and the water circulation pump turned on to circulate water over the ice block tray. However, the water flow stopped prematurely due to an insufficient water level. Water circulation only resumed after water was manually added to the reservoir. While the initial testing of the water inlet valve was inconclusive, the symptoms confirm the unit is not receiving enough water to sustain the ice-making process. ### Next Steps It is recommended to replace the water inlet valve to resolve the low-fill issue. The precise compatible part number should be verified prior to ordering the replacement component.
