Customer complaint: the dryer is showing an error code and the face of the timer is steamed up again. It shuts off mid cycle currently. Initial visit (Oct 19) — Matthew B: Reported concern The unit displayed error code F2E2, indicating a communication failure due to a disconnected Human Machine Interface (HMI). Assessment Inspection revealed that the vent is clogged, causing trapped water and steam to build up within the unit. This excessive moisture exposure resulted in an electrical short circuit in the HMI module. Next steps Plan to replace the damaged HMI board under warranty. In addition, clear the clogged vent assembly to restore proper moisture venting and prevent future steam accumulation.
