Customer complaint: when temp is set to 400 it will heat up a few minutes and dings like its pre heated but its not heated up. Takes half an hour for it to reach the set temp. Initial visit (Sep 24) — Matthew B: Reported concern The oven signals that preheating is complete before the selected temperature is fully reached, and the displayed temperature may be premature. Assessment The broil and bake elements tested OK. During testing, the oven reached 400u00b0F, and the technicianu2019s temperature readings matched at that point. Based on the premature preheat indication and temperature display behavior, the control board is suspected, but the cause is not yet confirmed. Next steps Further diagnosis is recommended to verify the control board is causing the incorrect preheat indication. If confirmed, replacement of the compatible control board would likely be required.
