This type of freeze-up typically occurs when the water inlet valve leaks or seeps water continuously, allowing small amounts of water to drip into the cold fill tube and freeze over time. Next steps To resolve this issue, it is recommended to replace the water inlet valve. We will order the compatible replacement valve assembly and schedule a return visit to install the new parts, clear the ice blockage from the funnel, and verify proper water flow.
