Customer complaint: Leaking between the riser and underside of the appliance. Initial visit (Oct 15) — Matthew B: Assessment The door boot/bellow was inspected and tested OK with no tears found, and the fill and drain hoses were inspected with no visible tears detected. However, the water inlet valve has failed and is actively leaking, which can allow uncontrolled water flow or leakage during operation. Next steps It is recommended to replace the failed water inlet valve to restore proper water control and prevent leakage. Return visit (Oct 23) — Matthew B: Installed new inlet valve and tested. Unit is working properly. No leaks witnessed after installation. Parts installed: Washer Water Inlet Valve. Outcome: Repaired.
