Whirlpool Electric Dryer

Customer complaint: Dryer is running intermittently. It was repaired in March for not producing any heat. The heating element was replaced then and seemed to be ok. It recently started failing again and now will turn on after sitting for a few days. Initial visit (Oct 1) — Matthew B: Reported concern The customer reported an issue with the appliance's user interface panel. Assessment Inspection of the unit revealed that the controls on the right side of the user interface panel are unresponsive to touch or input. This prevents the selection or adjustment of settings controlled by that section of the interface. Next steps Replacement of the user interface panel is required to restore full control functionality. Return visit (Oct 8) — Matthew B: ### Work performed Installed a new control panel assembly to resolve the issues with the user interface. ### Assessment Post-repair testing was completed successfully. The right-side button pads are now fully responsive and functioning as intended. All initial checks of the new panel indicate the appliance is operating normally. Parts installed: Dryer Control Panel. Outcome: Repaired.
